The Owners
It's often the case that the holidaymaker's left with a set of instructions and a key to the door, when booking a gite holiday in France. What we've tried to do here is collect properties with owners who live either on site, (but separate), or quite close by. This gives added peace of mind that you're going to be well looked after, and in the (hopefully) unlikely event of a problem, the owners will be on hand quickly to assist.
